When I first saw Aria at the auction, it was like some twist of cruel fate bringing us together. There’s just something about her that I could not resist. I had to make her mine.

But now that she’s under my power, I quickly realize I’ve gotten more than I bargained for.

Aria isn’t just a pretty doll to play with. No, she’s so much more than that.

And no matter how many times I try to bend her, she just won’t fully break.

When I find out the truth about Aria’s family and where she came from, I know my feelings for her will bring an all-out war against me and my empire.

But I’ll do anything to protect and keep my little captive. She’s mine now, and I’m never giving her up.

Author's note: Keeping My Captive is Aria Vitale’s story; and although it is a standalone, it would be better enjoyed after reading Keeping My Bride and Keeping My Girl.

This is a dark romance with adult themes, language and situations.

Aria just wanted to go out. She never thought the unthinkable would happen. Being kidnapped and taken to auction is terrifying. When Mateo purchased her, she just wanted to go home. But he had other ideas. There is something about this inexperienced, feisty woman. This enemies to lovers romance is so good, I could not put it down. Angela Snyder knows how to write a dark, dangerous spicy romantic suspense. As much as I wanted to dislike Mateo, he would turn around and do something to redeem him to me. Aria was strong, and her changing feelings were easy to believe. It's exciting and full of twists and turns, chemistry and passion. I loved this one!

Duncan Prescott and Phillipa Miller are the story tellers for this fabulous story and they are amazing. Prescott is a bit alpha, a bit vulnerable at times, and the most dangerous man when it comes to protecting Aria. Prescott finds each niche and brings him alive. Miller is so good as Aria. Her rebellious attitude was spot on, only to find herself scared, angry, frustrated and satisfied. Loved each scene perfectly. Loved these two.

Such good romantic suspense!

Brilliant narration from Phillipa Miller.and Duncan Prescott

Aria has been kidnapped and taken to auction where Mateo purchases her. These two are enemies but the chemistry is off the charts. Mateo shows his gentle side to Aria and no matter, they cannot deny the pull between them.

Maters is on strong alpha protector and Aria is feisty and these two together are hot.

This is a hot, steamy full of danger and drama listen.

I've said it once and I'll say it again, I love a Latino main character.
Mateo was no exception.
While this story continues where book 2, Keeping my Girl, sort of left off on Aria's side, i really enjoyed getting her story. I was a tiny bit skeptical of how it was going to go down with all the hints about Ronaldo and all but I was pleasantly surprised.
I like how Mateo is charitable and respectful of a lot of themes that in dark romance are sometimes more emphazised. I enjoyed them together even if it did give a tiny bit of Stollkholm Syndrome at times.
The male narrator could have done a little bit better with the accent for Mateo cause it felt....stereotypical for lack of a better word (this coming from a Mexican American). But overall I really enjoyed this story.

This book has the perfect balance of consent. I do love a reluctant leading lady but I love a dominant Alpha more!! A fantastic performance.

Aria has led a sheltered life especially after the work her family does.
Desperate for adventure she convinced Selena to sneak out to a club.
Constantine was obsessed with Selena but getting Aria is a bonus.
Matteo isn’t happy when an acquaintance takes him to a human auction but locking eyes with Aria he knows she’s his!
A wonderful story and the audio is fantastic.
