Özet

After escaping from the button-down life he never wanted, Caden Jackson is finally free. But freedom comes with a price, and the price Caden paid was losing the woman he loved.

Emma Baylee has loved Caden all her life, but his choices have left her vulnerable and alone. Now, desperate for help to find her missing friend, Emma must suppress her feelings and return to the man she’s always loved.

Betrayals are exposed as truths come to light. Will Caden and Emma be able to rekindle their relationship? Or in the end, will Caden’s choices separate them forever?

This audiobook is intended for mature audiences and ends in a cliffhanger, with the next three audiobooks in the series now available.

An MC Romance

Emma had a crush on Caden as kids even though he was six years older however due to the age difference he would not pursue a relationship. When tragedy struck the MC was there when he needed them the most and he and Emma lost contact with each other.

Years later he is now the President of the MC and Emma has tracked him down and needs his help to rescue her friend. There is no way he can deny her anything but in return she must stay with them to ensure her safety and he demands respect for himself and the people that will be helping her as she doesn’t have fond feelings for MC members. Being together brings up all the dormant feelings however will they succeed at love the second time around?

Action, suspense and heat all lead up to a cliffhanger that will take you by surprise. I received a complimentary copy of the audiobook and thought both narrators were a good choice for the characters they portrayed.

This was a good beginning to the Knights of Silence MC series. It was interesting and held my attention from beginning to end. There was danger, suspense, romance and some hot sex. It does end in a cliffhanger. I am looking forward to listening to the next book in the series. Mark and Maya Bravo did a good job bringing this story to life.

I truly appreciate that Amy took the time and include Kade and Emma’s back story. It made everything much easier to understand for when Emma came back into Ice’s life. Kade (aka Ice) had a fairly easy childhood until unexpectedly he became the guardian to his little sister and got a job at a place that would change his life. As Emma and Ice rediscover who each other are and develop their relationship, so much is going on around them. Emma is thrust into the MC life and she is quickly learning their ways. This book does end on quite the cliffhanger that will leave you wanting more.
The narrative by Mark and Maya was fantastic!
