“I think it’s the only way to fix me.”

One sentence.

One phrase.

It will haunt him if he ignores it, but his heart isn’t in the business at the moment.

Aiden and his partners put their blood, sweat, and plenty of tears into making Fairford Manor a huge success, but owning a luxury resort hasn’t turned out quite as he expected. After the latest disaster, it’s time for a vacation from the Manor, to hopefully reset his life.

But he can’t forget Olivia—especially once she’s at the gates having a full-blown panic attack. And what’s worse, she’s stunning and sweet and fragile. Nothing tempts him more than something broken. So he’ll teach her to let down her ironclad guard and submit. Then he can walk away.

Olivia knew she found her perfect one the moment he carried her through the gates. Tall, brooding, gorgeous . . . and kind. She’d never been one to attract kindness. But this was it. The final piece to fix her screwed-up puzzle. This resort and this man had to be the thing that worked.

She’ll have to trust. She’ll have to lay herself bare. If she can do it, her life might never be the same.

I enjoyed the story. The male narrator was very good. I found the female narrator inconsistent. Some parts were clear, but others I struggled to hear what she was saying. Not sure if it was a production issue (muffled) or whether she was not enunciating clearly, or both. Male narrator 5 stars, female narrator 3 stars, giving performance score of 4 stars overall.

Female narrator - some issues for me

Ok BDSM girlies... This audiobook? So good! Bay Sinclair does an amazing job in giving a plot that is entwined into the spicy scenes. I love the idea behind the story of both Aiden and Olivia finding peace about their past, together.

Shiloh James and Hugo Locke did incredible with the narration. It was very pleasing to the ears!
