Piper Turner ran to save her life and stumbled into a destiny she never asked for. Hunted by her own coven and cursed with magic that tears at the world, she collapses into the protection of four impossible men: Leo, the cool, dangerous vampire; Cole, a fire-breathing dragon; Gavin, a fierce wolf-witch; and Travis, a steady, earthbound bear. When the Goddess of Creation appears in a vision and declares the five of them a single key, Piper must bind herself to each of them to reassemble the elements that will tame her power. Every bond brings relief and complications. The men are guarded, alpha, and fiercely possessive; the coven is ruthless; and the clock is cruel. As Piper learns to wield fire, water, air, earth, and soul together, the stakes ratchet higher: if she fails, the coven will claim her body, the trackers will tear apart her life, and her magic will destroy the ones she's growing to love. Can a cursed witch and four mates make fate work in their favor or will everything crumble to pieces?

This is a hot, RH romance, with a vampire, wolf-witch, dragon and bear shifters– don't go in thinking it will be sweet with these alpha males, steamy scenes, a strong heroine witch, and some surprises along the way.

Thank you to McKayla Schutt and BookSprout for providing the Advanced Reader Copy of this book, for which I am voluntarily writing an honest and unbiased review.

Piper Turner is a cursed witch on the run from her own coven when she stumbles through a portal and into the arms of four unlikely heroes—a vampire and three shifters: a bear, a dragon, and a wolf-witch. Each of them instantly recognises her as their mate, which creates plenty of tension, especially with only a short window for them to bond.

The story is easy to follow and well written, with characters who feel both relatable and engaging. The plot moves at a steady, enjoyable pace and delivers plenty of entertainment. It’s a great fit for readers who enjoy steamy alpha shifters, strong heroines, and fast-paced paranormal romance.

The audiobook narration is excellent, performed by five different narrators—one for each main character. This multi-voice approach works beautifully and adds depth and immersion to the listening experience.

This was a short story with a lot of spice and action. There was not much backstory or character and relationship development. It was enjoyable for a quick read.
