Last Exit in New Jersey Summary

Twenty-year-old Hazel Moran’s idea of a tranquil moonlight sail never included dumping a body in the Atlantic miles off the Jersey Shore. Yet there she is, side by side with her father, Ian, on their century-old schooner, disposing of the stranger who attacked her just hours before. The man came looking for her cousin Micah and found Hazel instead, a third-generation trucker who is a lot tougher than she looks - even downright lethal.

Trouble is, Hazel and Ian don’t know where Micah is. They only know he up and vanished right around the same time as Ian’s new Freightliner. But Micah’s no thief; Hazel’s sure of it.

So she hits the road to find him, out for vengeance, hungry for the truth, and determined to take down anyone who gets in her way.
