The Hunter’s Code

I was a Hunter, and I honored the Code. For my services to humanity and for leading a "proper" life, I was to be rewarded. A new life after death, and a new world to give me some well-deserved rest. But something went wrong. Once again, I must fight. The Monsters that face me here are far more terrifying than those of my past life. They are cleverer, crueler, more unpredictable. And their name is.

I am Monster Slayer Fifth Class, Baron Alexander Galaxius. I'm still a baron with no barony, lands or family ring. Just like my past life, this one hasn't given me anything on a silver platter. I'll have to use my own strength to create the world I need. Once more . . .

I need my manor, I need my family ring, I need my Family, and I need your motorbike . . . My body grows stronger, my spirit levels up, and my old skills haven't gone anywhere. Finally, people I can trust are gathering around me. Mighty enemies? Sure, they exist too. But not for much longer.

Family manor-check! First Family Sword-present! Pets-a whole menagerie! Enemies-more and more! Friends-some, thank the Code! Money-oops . . . I need more gold! And a Family Guard! And a housekeeper! And a gardener, and . . . Hey, wasn't this world supposed to be my vacation?

Epicenters have activated all over the planet, and the Rifts are behaving unpredictably. It might seem time for humanity to unite before this shared threat, but there are too many people who care about nothing but their own interests!

It seems Irkutsk Oblast is getting a little too crowded for our hero. Yes, he has found his home here, for now deprived of caring feminine hands. Yes, nearby is the Epicenter, a perfect training ground. But the trouble is, the young baron has begun to draw attention from the powers that be, who plan to use Galaxius and his capabilities for their own—not always humane—ends . . .As our refined aristocrat of a hero would say: "Screw it, good luck to 'em!"

"Honor the Code and you'll rest in your next life!" they said . . . "It'll be fun!" they said . . . Now why didn't they tell me I'd have to get married and be responsible for a whole Noble Family of my own, with a bunch of obligations and all the crap I have to deal with now!? Could I get reborn back into a Hunter again, please!?

Where has the Emperor gone? Who is behind the conspiracy in the Empire? Are outside enemies taking advantage of the situation? And most importantly! Can Alexshhhander pull out all the shhtops and make it through?! You'll find the answers to these questions and many more in this book!

New enemies are ganging up on me. As if the old ones weren't enough! On the other hand—whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger! Alexander Galaxius is a name well known in the region of the Epicenter, mostly for the fact that I punish people who tick me off. Looks like I have a foreign...

It seems there's something amiss in the Empire. I didn't choose my fate, but now I'm acquainted with the Empress, and so, like it or not, I've been pulled into big politics. As if I didn't have enough of my own problems already! On the other hand, as we Hunters say: "The stronger the foe, the...

What does the Code have in store for me next? Looks like I'm never going to get to relax. This world I've ended up in is on the brink of a great war. It'll be a tragedy for its inhabitants. But I wonder . . . What will happen if this world finds itself beneath the deadly gaze of the Dark Gods?...

It seems the Empire faces new challenges, and it's going to survive them. After all, it has a certain honored citizen—me, Alexander Galaxius, who won't let the massive country collapse even in the Emperor's absence. I healed the Empress. I can heal the Empire too! At least, I hope I can...

I've finally gotten the message that this is no kind of vacation. Hell, I've had to spin around like a squirrel in a wheel! And the squirrels haven't even reached us yet . . . But I have enough headaches even without those furry little racist bastards. Everywhere I turn, everyone wants to pick...

The world has changed. First traces of a familiar goddess, then the Unnameable, and now even more throwbacks to my past life. It seems the spring of fate is winding tighter and tighter. When it finally uncoils, I hope this world stays intact! In any case, it seems that I, Alex Galaxius, must...

The more I see of the powerful in this world, the more surprised I get. How have they not killed each other off yet? Sure, there are some bright spots on the political map of the word, like Japan, which still remembers honor and responsibility. But as it turns out, not all is clean even there...

Armed conflicts erupt throughout the world. The compulsive appetites of the Dragon Empire are plain as day, but not all is so simple. Unexpected allies and enemies, secret intrigues and open hostility—that's what awaits me, Alexander Galaxius, right now. On the other hand, a troubled time is a...

I hate the cold! I hate discomfort! But . . . ! It seems the Empress has made me an offer I can't refuse. The Arctic . . . A mysterious place, where a serious battle has broken out for the very existence of Humanity. And no, not against the Nameless One . . . Turns out there are other A-holes...

So now I have some property in the arctic. Time to take down the Swarm? No, not just yet. First—shield from the rear. And by 'rear' I don’t mean my cozy little manor on the shore of the beautiful Baikal, but the entire Eastern Empire, which, it seems, is in for some interesting times. The...

Well, it finally happened! I became a daddy. And what does that mean? Well, first of all, now there's no way I can get away from Katya, but that doesn't matter, since I don't really want to anyway. Heh-heh! What does matter is that now I have even more responsibility and all that good stuff...

The threat of total destruction hangs over the world. The world that has become my new home. And worst of all, it isn't monsters from another world threatening humanity. Not at all! It's humans themselves trying to kill their own! I can't say that's anything new to me. More than that, I even...
