Tempting the Fates

Life was far from perfect after my mother's sudden death, but it was one I'd grown to love. And now, it's a life I'll never know again. Not after she and her two cruel sons entered our lives. I was played for a fool by Hades and the Fates, when it was Death they always wanted. I am nothing more than mortal pawn in a game of gods and monsters. Now, they have taken everyone from me.
