Shadow Slayers Stories

Ever since the nightmares started, Josephine “Josie” Benson’s life had started spiraling out of control. At night, she couldn’t sleep, and during the day she finds it increasingly more difficult to cling to reality. Nothing in her twenty-five years of life had prepared her for this moment, and, somehow, no matter who she turned to no one had any concrete answers. No one except for the mysterious stranger.

Celine never expected the fate of the world to rest in her hands. When her centuries-old painting containing a shard of her soul is stolen, Celine and her fellow Slayers embark on a dangerous mission to reclaim it. Armed with courage and magical powers, they journey back in time to the moment of the painting’s creation.

The cell walls closed around her, and Celine tried not to scream. It wouldn’t matter if she did; no one would be able to hear her. No one would be able to save her now. Trapped within an enchanted cell and hidden from the world, Celine Devereaux Buckley has nothing to do but ponder her fate. She should have been powerful enough to stop him, but when she was at her weakest, Duke Marcus Northcott finally captured her.

Nearly two months after Celine returned from Alterra, carrying with her the ominous warning from archnemesis Marcus Northcott, she is still trying to determine why returning to her world is the “biggest mistake of her life”. Living through the most peaceful time she’s ever known, Celine struggles to find the meaning behind the threat. That is until her life turns upside down. An unforeseen visit from her adopted mother sends her life and the lives of those around her spiraling. As they struggle to hide the truth, Celine begins to experience strange symptoms.

Still recovering from the effects of a deadly poison, Celine desperately needs a break. But when her evil cousin arrives in the sleepy town of Bucksville, she realizes their tiny hamlet will never be the same. If it even survives....

Bucksville is a power keg of danger. And it will only take one spark to destroy the entire world. Scrambling to prevent an all-out war, Celine and her fellow Slayers search for a plan to combat Dominique and her sinister alliance with the Dracopires. An alliance that threatens to bring death and destruction to Celine, her family, her town, and the entire world. To counter her relentless attacks, the Slayers must push the boundaries of their own abilities.

The darkness is no longer lurking in the shadows. It’s made itself at home. As Celine Buckley and her family regroup after their most devastating revelations yet, the threat they face has never been clearer—or more dangerous. Her cousin Dominique has crossed a final line, unleashing ancient creatures upon the quiet shores of Maine and setting a plan in motion that could tear the world apart. But Dominique isn’t acting alone.
