Reluctant Dungeon

After getting reincarnated as a dungeon, Theodor thought he’d finally get some rest and relaxation. That changed when a bumbling old hero stumbled into him and died, making Theodor the target of adventurers everywhere. Masquerading as a house in the small town of Rosewind, Theo must now do whatever it takes to remain unnoticed… even if it means creating an avatar to interact with people or go on a mission set by the annoying Earl Rosewind!

Saving the town of Rosewind from destruction and completing the nobles mission should have brought Theodor calm. Instead, it earned attention, a title, and three spoiled brats he was tasked to turn into proper adventurers. Ravaged by constant hunger, Theo must increase his size, while using his avatar to keep a constant eye on his new “apprentices” as they face brigands, necromancers, a plague of cursed letters, and anything else life throws their way.

Theo had thought that after saving the city of Rosewind (again…) he would finally be done with all his adventuring nonsense. Sadly, the universe had a different opinion. Stretched between organizing the most spectacular wedding the world has ever seen and being a reluctant participant in a mage tower contest, the dungeon must shuffle between magic, city planning, and petty politics in order to maintain its cover.

Theo has had enough! Enough of being treated like a celebrity, enough of saving the world, enough of having to run a city full of adventurers and the occasional hero. His plan? Fake the death of his avatar so he could finally enjoy some peace. Unfortunately, the universe has something different in mind. Without warning, the dungeon finds himself drafted by the hero guild and sent off to face the demon lord along with a small army of actual heroes.
