Peregrine Quinn

Peregrine Quinn has always loved hearing her godfather Daedalus Bloom's stories about his life as an immortal, but that's all they were - stories. That is, until the portals that connect the Terran Realm with the Cosmic Realm mysteriously shut down and Daedalus, the only one who can fix them, is kidnapped. Peregrine is then swept into a nail-biting adventure, racing through the streets of Oxford, down the riverways of London and into the Under-Underground. She soon realises that not only are the creatures from her godfather's stories real, but they're shooting at her with laser blasters.

The city of Cosmopolis is buzzing with excitement. The Cosmic Games are fast approaching, and eight champions are about to compete for a magical golden apple and a lifetime of glory. It's the event of a generation! But behind the scenes tensions within Olympus Inc. are running high as they struggle to hide signs of a rebellion, and the fact that a mysterious figure is trying to sabotage the Games. Who are they, and what do they want?

With the annual NoxTurning celebrations approaching, Olympus Inc. is desperate to show that even after everything that happened at the Cosmic Games, the Realms can go on as normal. Meanwhile Peregrine has problems of her own. She has been whisked away by Hades, and now must battle giant bugs, double-crossing agents and the New York traffic to get herself back home to Oxford. And Hades is just the first of the Cosmics that Peregrine has to grapple with, as soon another adventure pulls her back into the Cosmic Realm and brings her face to face with the Queen of the Cosmics herself: Hera.
