Infatuated Fae

When a trip into the forest to collect a rare mushroom goes horribly wrong, I find myself falling through a fairy portal and straight into the arms of the Unseelie Fae prince. The dangerously unhinged and handsome Unseelie Fae prince. What could be more horrible than that? He thinks I'm an assassin sent by the humans to kill him, not a biologist. Determined to kill me first and rid himself of the human he has unwillingly grown obsessed with, yet also needing to entertain his people, the villain challenges me to three deadly trials.

Finally reunited with her family, Caly struggles to adjust to her new life and the decisions she made to get there. After giving up everything for them, she eagerly awaits the ceremony to receive the second half of her heart and become whole, even though it comes at an unsettling cost. She must marry Prince Aurelius and solidify her place within the Seelie Court. As she prepares for the event, Caly finds herself haunted by the memory of Malum Mendax, the Unseelie Prince—feeling his eyes are on her when she's alone, shadowy silhouettes in her room, and even touching him in her dreams.

Caly's bond to Mendax from their bonding ceremony and her mortality being tied to Aurelius's from when he saved her life mean the three of them have tangled their life forces together. And now that they know maintaining both connections is against the natural order of things, one of them must be sacrificed for the other two.

Prince Aurelius of the Seelie realm has always been the hero, so it's no real surprise to him when a final act of heroism lands him in fae hell with one final task: give Caly's sister, Ana, the rest of her powers and take her to the Fates in Moirai. It is, however, a surprise to learn that Ana isn't the eight-year-old child who died in that car with Caly so many years ago. Instead, she is a full-grown, beautiful woman―with plans to take over the Underworld as soon as she can get the pendant holding her powers from Eli.
