When Avery showed up for his temp job on Monday morning, he had certain expectations in mind. He was not expecting to end up bent over his new boss's desk. It was an innocent mistake, and he's determined to move on, but the experience left him breathless and more than a little curious. So when his new boss is left without a feeder, he volunteers to help. After all, that's what any good assistant would do. Right?

Isaac went against his family when he refused to join the military. He had dreams, and he wasn't going to cave to family pressure to give them up. So when his boss offers him an opportunity to get some real experience in the job he's working toward, he leaps at the chance. The only problem is that his new boss is a grumpy dragon with a short fuse known to terrorize the office. But that wasn't anything Isaac couldn't handle. Right?

But bills needed to be paid, and he didn't have the luxury of turning jobs down. So when his boss offers him what sounds like the perfect job, he's afraid to hope he's finally found his place. After all, the job is only temporary. They wouldn't want to keep someone like him. Right?

Old EMT habits kick in, and he offers his assistance with a blood donation. He's done it a dozen times. Nothing could go wrong. Right? Dorian thought transferring to the medical innovations division would be an interesting challenge.

Alistair wasn't the kind of man to let the bad keep him down. His ex-wife may have left and taken his kids, but when his little brother offered him a lifeline, he took it and pulled himself back up. He joined a temp company, started working again, and did what he could to heal after a military mission gone wrong. He doesn't expect to face his issues so soon, but when Isaac asks him to help a friend, the least he can do is give the man a ride. Right?
