Old Gals

The BRAND NEW hilarious, relatable read from the BESTSELLING author of The Old Girls’ Bucket List

‘My own old man was bad enough… why would I want another?’

When Madge and Beryl decide the men on dating apps are beyond hopeless – scruffy, boring and unable to hold a decent conversation – they launch a daring new venture: a male makeover academy.

Their first recruits? Long-suffering swimming club pals Sid and Bill, who suddenly find themselves learning everything from basic grooming to fast-car zooming, in a bid to become date-worthy.

But while the old gals are busy turning local men into catches, a bigger crisis is brewing. Their favourite café – home to the best cakes in town and countless cups of tea – is about to close its doors for good.

Now the gang are on a mission – save the café, find true love, stop Sid from making a complete fool of himself on the dance floor, and just maybe have a few adventures of their own!

As sparks fly and friendships deepen, they will all discover you’re never too old for a second chance…

A wickedly-funny story about friendship, adventure and finding love, perfect for fans of Dawn French, Maddie Please and Judy Leigh.
