Assassinated King

Getting assassinated sucks. Just ask Thomas, a man from Earth who made a few too many enemies. Or you could ask Lucian, the crown prince of another world who met a similar fate. But if you were to ask either of them, then you'd actually be asking the same man, as Thomas' soul was crammed into Lucian's body during their simultaneous assassinations. The Goddess who reincarnated him didn't do it for free, though. She tasked Lucian with the simple quest of saving the Almekian Kingdom from the brink of collapse.

With his kingdom secured under his rule, King Lucian can finally focus on the important matters, like fixing his kingdom and gearing up for the war against the Esgares Empire. At least, that's what he thought. But seemingly out of nowhere, he receives a summoning from the one known as the Fairy Queen. With the mysterious and powerful creature beckoning him to her realm, Lucian finds himself in a mysterious land filled with crystalline trees and surrounded by powerful monsters. The only upside is that fairies are cute. And at least they're not annoying, like pixies.

Lucian's companions continued to increase, with the addition of the Fairy Princess, Minerva, and the oni warrior, Teflyn. Yet even with their combined power, the formidable Death Knight proved too much for them to handle. After a surprise visit from a certain young immortal, Lucian decided to head east, to the land of the dark elves.
