Arcane Pathfinder

Samantha is a young attorney transported to an alternate reality in her sleep across the Void and time. She soon finds that the world she wakes up in is controlled by an all-powerful System with mechanics similar to the fantasy games she played back on Earth. After a brutal introduction to her new reality, Samantha (Sam) is given a class explicitly curated by the enigmatic System.

After recovering from her battle with the evolved being, Sam finds she has damaged her body and soul. And to her surprise, she discovers she isn't exactly human and may have an infinite number of siblings! That revelation broached many questions since Sam grew up an orphan on Earth. Unfortunately, Sam doesn't have time to dwell on what she has done to herself because the church has finally found Nara's whereabouts and immediately attacks the group, only to find out what an angry Pathfinder who only recently ripped an evolved creature apart can do.

Join Sam as she explores the Beastlands in a quest to find a way off planet Hallista. Nothing ever comes easy for the enigmatic Arcane Pathfinder, though. Things get complicated quickly when Nara's world quest leads her back to Sam, and they discover the true intentions of the church. Sam and her eclectic group are pushed to their limits when faced with encounters outside their control, like meddling goddesses, a crashed spaceship dungeon, deadly trees, a dungeon break, an attack on an elven mega city, and brutal battles against increasingly powerful foes.

What begins as a simple escort mission for a royal ally, Cara Alessia, hurtles Sam and her eccentric crew deep into uncharted space, where alien megastructures, strange factions, and dangerous curiosities lurk behind every glowing gate. From negotiating with tentacled truth-finders to dodging the deadly egos of imperial politics, Sam must balance diplomacy with her knack for blowing things up… preferably not in the same conversation.
