Every human girl growing up on New Terrhan knows one thing...that she will be taken by one or several Xalthurian males when she turns 21. The Xalthurians are rough, domineering, and huge all over, but this is the deal our leaders struck so that they would provide our human colony with desperately needed supplies. 

I’ve grown up my whole life knowing that after a woman turns 21 in my settlement, she must submit to being mated by our alien overlords, the Xalthurians. Running from the mating ceremony means punishment...or worse.  

All of us girls growing up on New Terrhan know that when we become of age, we must submit to our overlords in a special ceremony. To my surprise, though, the alien warrior who hunts me down gifts me with hours of bliss and a beautiful little girl. She becomes my only happiness in life after he’s gone. I’ve never forgotten him...even after surviving an abusive relationship. But when we meet again, he’s different. An unrecognizable beast.

The rules of the accord between my humble human colony and our Xalthurian alien overlords are cruel but clear: Every human female the age of 21 must participate in a ceremony where she gets taken by the Xalthurians who want an heir. I knew the rules when I submitted to the huge red Xalthurian, who gave me unexpected pleasure before returning to his home planet. I was aware I wouldn't be able to keep my baby when I saw that "the issue" of our coupling was a boy.

My Alien Overlords are red, massive, and determined to claim--steal? Keep? Possibly all of the above--me. Moons, I dunno. My status with the Louxos cousins is set on so, SO complicated. One night of passion with two Xalthurians changed everything. Nope! Try made everything worse. One will do anything to get me off the planet, including accepting my Hail Mary, crazy-high-stakes bet for full custody of our hybrid son. And the other one’s angry at me because I refuse to risk it all to become the MFM triad he believes me, him, and my hot-but-horrible alien baby daddy are fated to become.
