In no time, I was soaked and so scared I was shaking. I couldn’t believe I was in the middle of the thunder cloud. It grew very dark, almost like nighttime. Clouds swirled all around me with high winds. I hugged the boulder to keep the winds from blowing me off the mountain. My heart pounded as though it were going to burst. Lightning continued to flash. Loose rocks rolled by me, and little streams of rushing water threatened to cause a minor landslide. I prayed the boulder I was hugging would stay put.
