Rachel is still reeling from the news that the Earth is secretly under attack by parasitic aliens known as the Yeerks. And that she and her friends - five kids who, purely by chance, stumbled onto a downed spacecraft and were given the power to morph into any animal they touch - are the planet's only defense. But Rachel's always been something of a daredevil. So when it's suggested that they infiltrate the home of their assistant principal, Mr. Chapman, who also happens to be a human host of the Yeerks, she volunteers. But what she finds inside may be more than even she can handle.

The Earth is being invaded, but no one knows about it. When Jake, Rachel, Tobias, Cassie, and Marco stumble upon a downed alien spaceship and its dying pilot, they're given an incredible power - they can transform into any animal they touch. With it, they become Animorphs, the unlikely champions in a secret war for the planet. And the enemies they're fighting could be anyone...even the people closest to them.

The blue box Elfangor used to create the Animorphs has been found by a kid named David. David has no idea what he has - or what it can do. But Marco does. And when he sees David with it, he knows the Animorphs have to get that box. At any cost. But what should have been a simple plan ends up going horribly wrong, leaving David is on the run with the Animorphs. Now they have only two choices: Turn David over to the Yeerks, or make him an Animorph.

There is a new Animorph. And he's arrived just in time, because the Yeerks are preparing their biggest takeover ever. Their ultimate target: the world's most powerful leaders, all gathered together in one place. What better way to get into the minds of humans? Literally. At first, David joins the fight with a vengeance. But there's definitely something wrong. Because he's starting to break the rules, taking risks that could get them all captured. Or killed. The Animorphs don't know what to do.

When Tobias and his friends were given the power to morph, they were also given an important warning: Never stay in a morph for more than two hours. But Tobias broke the time limit, and now he's trapped in the body of a hawk - forever. When he discovers an important Yeerk secret, Tobias knows he has to do everything in his power to destroy it. But to do so, he'll have to contend with a part of himself that's wrestling for control. A part that isn't human.

David, the newest Animorph, is not what he appears. His need to control the other Animorphs is all he thinks about. And the things he does are starting to break up the group. Rachel and the others know that time is running out. The newest battle against the Yeerks is the most important one yet. And it's not one that will wait. Winning this fight could mean slowing down the invasion. But no one knows what to do with David. Because the newest Animorph is more than just a little problem. He's deadly.

Almost nothing could be as bad as finding out your mother is Visser One, the most powerful leader of the Yeerk invasion of Earth. But it happened to Marco. And even though he's been handling it pretty well, he knew there'd come a time when he'd have to face her again, knowing that the Yeerk in her brain has taken his mother away. So when Marco and the other Animorphs discover that Visser One is overseeing a secret underwater project, they know they have to check it out. But Marco's not sure if this is a battle he'll be able to fight.

There's a new rumor in town. Someone has discovered an item that proves life on other planets exists, and they've been hiding it on a base called Zone 91, the most secret place on Earth. Cassie and the other Animorphs already know about life on other planets. Too well. Their enemies the Yeerks will try to access Zone 91, to find out if what's there will threaten their mission to conquer to the planet. So the Animorphs decide to pay Zone 91 and the Yeerks a little visit. But what they discover is not at all what they expect.

Ax and the Animorphs are about to have a huge problem. It starts when they decide to morph into mosquitoes in order to slip by some unsuspecting Yeerks, and ends with them stuck in Zero-space with no idea how they got there, no way back to Earth...and no oxygen. Luckily, an Andalite scout ship finds them before it's too late. But now Ax is finally with his own people. And he doesn't know if he ever wants to go back to Earth.

Cassie's had it. After the last mission, she realizes she's getting tired of missions. Tired of battles. Tired of being an Animorph. She decides that she just can't do it anymore. So she quits. But the war for her planet isn't so easy to quit. It seems a human-Controller named Karen followed Cassie after the last run-in with the Yeerks, and she knows Cassie has the ability to morph. If she exposes Cassie, it's all over. No more Cassie. No more Animorphs. No more planet Earth.

Someone's looking for Tobias. Someone who says she's his long-lost cousin. Tobias isn't sure the person is telling the truth, but she's really nice, and knows a lot about him. And what she tells Tobias definitely gets his attention. It seems a lawyer has discovered Tobias' father's last will and testament. So, Tobias needs to attend the reading. His cousin even offers to go along. But something just doesn't feel quite right. That's when Tobias and the other Animorphs decide to do a little checking on this "cousin". And what they discover will change the rest of Tobias' life.

The Animorphs have met the Ellimist. He helped to save the kids when they were about to be eaten by a Taxxon. He helped to free two Hork-Bajir and restored Tobias's morphing ability. But even though the Ellimist has enormous power, he is not all powerful.

Cassie and the other Animorphs have a few little problems. A few very little problems. Actually, the problems call themselves Helmacrons. They're less than an inch tall, and they're pretty upset at Cassie. They believe she stole their ship. Cassie thought it was just a toy and gave it to charity. Now the Helmacrons want it back. So the Animorphs have a new dilemma. Because the Helmacrons have their own secret weapon: They can shrink other beings down to their size. And if they don't get their ship back soon, everyone on the planet is in for a little surprise.

It was bad when Jake found out his brother was one of them. A Human-Controller. A slave. But that was nothing compared to this. When the Animorphs decide to visit the Yeerks' new base, it seems simple. But then they get caught, and Jake falls - just for a moment - into the Yeerk pool. Now they're out, and his friends can't see it. To them, he's just like normal. But Jake is screaming for help. His worst fear has finally come true. He's become the enemy.

What's tasty, good for you, and only takes 60 seconds to make? Oatmeal. And because of a strange reaction to the Yeerk's physiology, it's making the would-be invaders of Earth more than a little crazy. Now Rachel and the other Animorphs have a new weapon against the Yeerks. Sounds good, right? Wrong. Because using this advantage against the Yeerks has dire consequences for their human hosts. In order to avoid hurting innocent people, the Animorphs will have to make another trip to the Yeerk pool, where they barely escaped with their lives.

Tobias's worst nightmare has come back to haunt him-Taylor. Taylor is the evil Yeerk that captured and tortured Tobias, trying to get him to reveal the secrets of the Animorphs. Now she's captured him again-but this time, she wants his help. Taylor says she's part of a Yeerk rebel movement to overthrow Visser Three. They plan to dig a tunnel and blow up the Yeerk pool, killing a bunch of Controllers and Visser Three. But they can't do it without the "Andalite Bandits."The Animorphs have their doubts.

There's been an accident. Someone crash landed a Yeerk Bug fighter, and the Yeerks have been trying to cover it up - quickly. When Tobias spots it before they get the chance, the Animorphs decide to steal the ship, to show the world that Earth has been invaded. That's when things go terribly wrong. Before they know it, Jake and the other Animorphs find themselves in another place. Another time. And there's no way home....

There's something pretty weird going on in the woods behind Cassie's house, the place where Ax and Tobias call home. It seems the Yeerks have figured out one very important fact: Andalites cannot survive without a feeding ground. Visser Three knows the "Andalite bandits" don't feed where he does, so there can only be one other place. Now the Animorphs have to figure out a way to stop a bogus logging operation. Because if Visser Three finds Ax in the woods, nothing will stop him from finding the Animorphs.

It all started with the dreams. But Cassie didn't pay much attention to them. She and her friends have been having nightmares ever since they acquired the power to morph. But when Cassie discovers that Tobias has been having dreams too - the exact same dreams - about the ocean, and a voice that's calling to them for help, she decides it's time to start listening. Now, she and the others have to figure out if the dreams are a message, or a trap.

Marco never wanted to be an Animorph. He didn't want the ability to change into any animal he touches. And he certainly didn't want to be one of a handful of kids that are the planet's only defense against a secret alien army. His friends know why he feels the way he does. He's worried about his dad - the only family Marco has left. If anything happens to him, his father will be alone. But something big is about to change for Marco. Something that could finally give him a reason to fight.
