As a summer fae princess and chief enforcer for the Mage Police, it’s my job to stop shifters dead in their tracks. And if one criminal slips through my fingers while I bag another, well, that’s not a good enough reason to demote me - in my opinion. Determined to prove myself to the mages, I go after the worst criminal out there: The Shadow. But when that mission gets blown all to hell, I find myself a captive of three shifter warlords. Being their prisoner shows me all about the darker side of the war. But the thing is…I’m not afraid of the dark. Or them.

As a peasant, I was forced to work the jewel mines in order to survive. My life was hard, but my worries were few: Affording food to eat, and keeping my pet sloth out of harm’s way. But when a chance encounter with a stranger concludes with me obtaining the power of the gods, suddenly my whole world changes. When the Storm King finds out - and trust me, he always finds out - he plans to make me a princess by marrying me off to one of his four sons.

As a rogue princess and ex-chief enforcer, I know all their magic tricks. And now that I’m mated not just to a wolf shifter, but his bear shifter best friend, I’ve got two good reasons to fight for the opposite side. But the Mage Council is used to winning, and they’ll stop at nothing to ensure we lose. The more I try to help the shifters, the worse their lives seem to get.

Alexis Ravenel: Damaged. Determined. Deadly. In order to control me, the Storm King does his best to damage me. And unfortunately, he’s quite good at it. But I suppose what doesn’t kill me, only makes me stronger. I’m now more determined than ever to rid the world of his wicked ways, but for that, we’ll need allies. The Storm Princes and I travel to the Obsidian Desert in order to save the fae, only to find that the harpies need our help, too.

The Storm King is the ultimate evil. He’s abused and tortured innocent citizens. He’s murdered people my princes and I love and care about. And he’s about to get what’s coming to him. But first, we must save Blackwood Kingdom from international war. Fae, sirens, and harpies are coming to destroy us, and short of a divine intervention, I’m not sure how we’re going to survive it.

Alexis Ravenel: Rule breaker, risk taker, game changer. With the fae and sirens waging war at Blackwood's gates, and no one else stepping in to help - thanks a lot harpies - it's up to me and my sexy Storm Princes to save our kingdom from eminent doom. To do this, we'll have to meet Hydratica head-on in a battle the likes of which we've never seen. See, there are more than sirens lurking in their murky waters, and whatever is down there, I think it's guarding the Eye of the Sea - the elusive object we need to find on behalf of the Storm King.
