As Evan focuses on rebuilding Hatra, he discovers the project, and the city, are much bigger than he first thought. And things are lurking in the shadowed ruins. Then a phoenix princess comes flying out of the desert, and she begs Evan to save her people from deadly creatures that have pursued them relentlessly. I've collected the souls required to speak with my dead father, and he's got a lot to tell me. Hopefully, what he has to say will help me succeed in the coming Mage Game Qualifiers. Because if I get through, then I'll finally find my mother's white staff.

If I'm to save the Universal Magic, I need to find them. What I need to do with them isn't exactly fit for public consumption, but it's fundamental to who I am as a Creation Mage. I just have to slip into the castle, disguised as a noble, and snatch four other Creation Mages. All while avoiding the eyes of the Queen and the Arcane Council.

Ever since I discovered that I can kill magical creatures, trap their souls in precious gems, and use them to cast spells of my own, I haven’t had a moment’s rest. I have to balance my academics with learning how to use my powers and capture more souls in more gems to grow my spell collection. All the while avoiding angry aristocrats, nosy professors, criminal mobsters, and evil dwarves bent on destroying the civilized kingdoms. Luckily, I have some handy magic, a super awesome foxgirl and the hottest elven girl in school by my side, so nothing can stop me.

We escaped from New York City, but the mages are still hot on our heels. We’re heading west, to see a man about a gun. Actually, a lot of guns. Any gun I touch I can summon back, so I need to grow my arsenal to have a chance to fend off our pursuers and make it to the west coast. Unfortunately, we’ll have to traverse miles mutant-infested wilderness to get to our contact, and even if we make it through the mutant lands, the mages could easily be waiting for us on the other side. I’m definitely gonna need a lot of guns.

I've either made the greatest or worst decision of my life: to travel to the Chaosbane Family Ranch to celebrate Yuletide. One of the many fellow festivalgoers accompanying me is arguably the Chaosbane's craziest family member, Leah. There's no telling what kind of crazy antics we'll end up in, but I hope that at least one of them will lead to learning more spells.

Having won the king’s favor, Evan sets his sights on rebuilding the city of Hatra to its former glory. Until mummified harpies begin to attack them. Suspicious that the villainous Green Glass Sect is behind these latest assaults, Evan starts looking for answers, making allies, and consolidating his power. Luckily, he’s a kick ass dragon lord now. And dragons have no problem crushing their enemies.

Now tested in battle, Evan aims to become the heir of Hatra. Once that he’s a lord, Evan has even more on his plate, from rebuilding the city’s aqueducts to fighting demonic hordes. On top of all that, the King of Rahma gives Evan a quest to prove his worth: to find the lost sword of Hatra, which was last seen 1,000 years ago.

From book one: Being able to rip the soul out of a creature, store it in a precious gem, and use it to cast spells might make me the most powerful student at the Astra Argent Magical Academy. Only I can’t tell anybody about it. Because it's illegal, and they’ll kill me if they find out. But they need me whether they know it yet or not, so I’m going to capture a lot of souls and cast a lot of spells. This is gonna be a crazy semester. Evan decides to go undercover to get to the bottom of all these mysteries, but a little dragon diplomacy may be in order.

Evan’s royal campaign to win over the people of Rahma has taken him to the northern peninsula. And straight to the gates of the underwater city of Pullis. The Green Glass Sect is up to no good under the sea, and it’s up to Evan and his party to save the merfolk from traitors and the ever-corrupting presence of miasma.

To win her over, Evan and his party work to clear the nearby forest of monsters, traps, and traitorous Green Glass Sect members. If the queen is pleased, Evan will add her into his harem of mates. And maybe even give her an heir.

Now that Evan has the Celestial Triad in his possession, what’s the next step? Well, conquering the spirits of the relics and assimilating their awesome powers, of course. But that’s not all Evan will be conquering. Lady Naomi’s defenses have been quickly dwindling, and Evan thinks it’s time to show her how a real dragon male can make her feel.

The apocalypse is on the horizon, and only one man can stop it. Joined by his Apocalypse Knights, Maximo Strident will face dungeons and monsters at levels never before seen. The worst of all, though, are those deranged parodies of Knights-Errant known as Harbingers. It's a good thing Max can steal spells, because the world depends on him ascending to heights of power once thought impossible.
