In the spirit of Chinua Achebe’s Things Fall Apart, which examined a turbulent time in Africa’s history, Things Come Together grapples with modern challenges and seeks to bring hope for the continent’s future. The book traverses a wide range of perspectives, from the scientific to the artistic, the physical to the sociological, political, economic, and metaphysical.

History tends to repeat itself. In economics, past policy often works to help with current Inflationary and Unemployment problems. At the least, economic policy can show what not to do as well as what has worked in the past. This paper deals with the 1990’s effect of Inflation and Unemployment in Canada and serves as a template for Western central banks to use for the future.

Partant de ce constat, cet essai s’attelle à définir et clarifier le concept de l'inflation, ses multiples déclinaisons et la manière dont les États y répondent.
