When Arthur and Rose were little, they were heroes in the Land of Roar, an imaginary world that they found by climbing through the folding bed in their grandad’s attic. Roar was filled with things they loved - dragons, mermaids, ninja wizards and adventure - as well as things that scared them (including a very creepy scarecrow).... Now the twins are 11, Roar is just a memory. But when they help Grandad clean out the attic, Arthur is horrified as Grandad is pulled into the folding bed and vanishes. Is he playing a joke? Or is Roar...real?

When 11-year-old Aidan receives a mysterious package of sweets from South America in the post, he and his two best friends Sadie and Hussein eat one sweet each - and suddenly develop amazing superpowers. Sadie can move objects with her mind. Hussein can control any electronic device. And Aidan can ignite his body at will...and when he's on fire, he can fly. When they discover that the sweets were sent by a traitorous criminal who is trying to hunt them down to get them back, they have to use all their new powers to outwit him.

When Chester discovers he can mind jump, his sister Amy wastes no time in putting his new skills to work boosting the viewing figures on her video blog. And when a TV company takes them global, he does his most daring mind jump yet, into the brain of Tito the gorilla. The trouble is, when he tries to return to his own body - it's gone! Has it been stolen? But who would want it, and why? And how come Chester suddenly has the urge to search Amy's hair for fleas? 

"What is this smell?" asked Dad. "It's just the wind blowing in your direction, honey," replied Mum. Does Bryan care? Definitely not, but should he? Brian Brown Bear doesn't want to bathe, brush his teeth, or wash his hands. He is only interested in watching his favourite TV programs and playing with his toys. His odour is not going unnoticed, though, and it is attracting unwelcome visitors during the night. Critters who leave a mysterious and strange stench in the air surrounding the home.
