Across the world, we are killing too many dogs needlessly. In Australia, approximately 80 percent of all dogs that end up in shelters are there due to either dog-to-dog or dog-to-human reactivity. Sadly, this is not a problem exclusive to Australia. While this is a startling statistic, the sad truth is that the vast majority of dogs facing euthanasia in these shelters are highly salvageable and the solutions are often very simple to apply.

Packed with everything you need to know to raise and care for your dog the pack leader’s way, this audiobook is based on the revolutionary teachings of the Mexican-American “Leader of the Pack” Cesar Millan and the Austrian zoologist Konrad Lorenz, also known as “The Father of Pack Leadership”, contained in the first three volumes of The Pack Leader Training Series by Al Parr.

If you're reading this, I can guess that you've either lived or worked with dogs. We don't call them man's best friend for nothing. Since the very dawn of civilization, man has shared his life with our canine friends. This is the complete five-book series, a collection of 60 true stories that we hope illustrate just why life is always enhanced by having a dog around.

With dogs, you get back what you put in, just as you do with your human relationships. Dogs, however, show more ability to forgive the cruelty and indiscretion of ignorant people - well at least that's what I have observed. As the old saying goes, "no such thing as a bad dog, just a bad owner," and this I believe with all my heart. All my dogs have been 'rescue dogs', taken from a life of abandonment and often cruelty. With patience, love, and stability, all of my dogs have shown loyalty and love way beyond any human should deserve.

The articles or "ravings" in this book give the listener a glimpse inside just what I think about dog training. They are small snippets and articles on the way to understand how to speak dog as a second language vs. the tired and old ideas of the dog listening and doing what I want because I am the human. I hope to inspire you with these articles and whet your appetite to learn even more about a science-based positive-reinforcement way of keeping it simple stupid, and if nothing else, to at least have fun while training your dog.
