Before we can give the perfect speech, we have to get ready to give the perfect speech. Just saying the words of our speech over and over again is a good first step, but it's not enough. We need to know what else we have to do prior to giving a speech in order to be ready when the big day comes.

As speakers, we want to create the best speech that we can. In order to do this we can make use of a large number of tools that are available. However, we first have to know about the tools that we have access to and then we need to know how to go about using them. Each of these tasks can be learned.

Every time we are asked to give a speech, we feel a sense of nervous energy flow through our body. We think, "I hope that this turns out well." We would give anything to be able to control the future and make this our best speech ever. Well, I've got some good news for you: you are in control and you can make that happen.
