Before you were born, there was a time when you did not exist. Every person, every animal, every star, and every mountain has a beginning.

But not God.

In this short family devotional, we open the very first book of the Bible—Genesis—and read the very first verse: “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” Together, we explore what Genesis means, why the Bible is trustworthy, and how God’s power in creation leads us to worship, trust, and live for Him.
