“Can you please let people know we didn’t treat you like an animal?” That’s what an ICE agent asked King Trivv on his way out of Delaney Hall. What happened before that moment is a story he’s never told on TikTok, and it raises a hard question about who gets to walk out of these facilities and who doesn’t.

From making Vines in a group home to documenting ICE operations from Minneapolis to New York, Trivv also breaks down what organizing really looks like when the cameras are off, and what it takes to show up for the people these raids leave behind.

This week, Trump hands farmers an $8 billion bailout for a mess he made, then promises more if Republicans win. The DOJ charges 28 people with voting crimes in a state where 16 million people voted. Republicans suddenly love France. And Trump drops $400 million on the midterms while launching a fraud tip line, which is a bold move for the guy behind Trump University.

Plus Putin pitches a Yalta reunion, JD Vance gets left on read, and a few college kids in New Zealand remind us that someone, somewhere, is still building things that work.
