  • Burnout and Overworking: Why Is It So Hard to Just Do Less?
    26 Aug 2026

    Text Jule :)

If you’re burned out, you probably already know what you’re “supposed” to do: work less, sleep more, take breaks, exercise, set better boundaries. So why is it so damn hard to actually do any of that?

In this episode, I dig into why overworking can continue even when you’re exhausted, why some of us seem to live in a state of perpetual burnout, and what might be happening underneath the urge to keep pushing. Because if information were enough to cure burnout, a lot of us would have fixed this already.

I also share what my own burnout has forced me to confront about work, productivity, physical limits, and the warning signs I spent years ignoring.

If you’ve ever wondered, “Why do I feel burned out all the time?” or tried to figure out the real cause of burnout in your own life, this episode will give you some questions worth sitting with.

    Topics in this episode:

    • Why knowing you need to slow down doesn’t necessarily make you slow down
    • How overworking can become your normal without you realizing how depleted you are
    • Why the consequences of pushing too hard can be so easy to ignore
    • What we may be getting from working beyond our capacity
    • The connection between productivity, accomplishment, and self-worth
    • Why setting work boundaries can feel harder than it sounds
    • What my own experience with autistic burnout has taught me about my limits
    • Why waiting until you feel completely exhausted may already be too late
    • Three questions to help uncover what keeps you pushing past your capacity

  • Why You‘re Not Reaching Your Potential: How to Know How Far You Can Go
    13 Aug 2026

    Text Jule :)

What if you’re capable of way more than you know, but you quit before you ever find out?

Starting a new career, business, creative pursuit, or anything that matters can bring up a weird mix of hope, fear, self-doubt, and excitement. You see a little evidence that maybe you have real potential. Then almost immediately, the pressure kicks in: What if I’m wrong? What if I’m not actually good at this? What if this becomes one more thing that didn’t work out?

In this episode, I’m digging into why pursuing your potential can feel so emotionally loaded, why being a beginner messes with your head, and what happens when your identity and self-worth get tangled up with whether you succeed.

If you’ve ever wondered whether you’re wasting your potential, questioned whether you should keep going, or felt tempted to quit because you weren’t progressing fast enough, this one’s for you.

    Topics in this episode:

    • Why starting something new can trigger both hope and fear
    • The emotional roller coaster of career changes and new pursuits
    • Why uncertainty creates so much anxiety around your potential
    • The fear of failure when something feels tied to your identity
    • Why small signs of talent can raise the stakes
    • Untapped potential and the fear of never discovering what you’re capable of
    • Why beginners often judge themselves too early
    • The difference between your current ability and your future potential
    • Why progress gets harder after the initial excitement wears off
    • Knowing when to keep going and when something genuinely isn’t for you
    • The role commitment plays in discovering how far you can actually go

  • I Thought I Was an Asshole. Turns Out It Was Autism.
    8 Aug 2026

    Text Jule :)

Late autism diagnosis in women can make you look back at your entire life and think, “Holy shit. How did nobody catch this? Who even am I?”

I was diagnosed with autism a year and a half ago, but I’m only now beginning to understand what being autistic actually means for me. And learning about autism in women, masking autism, and autistic burnout has made a whole bunch of things from my past suddenly look very different.

    In this episode:

    • signs of autism in women that can be missed for decades
    • getting an autism diagnosis as an adult
    • why I didn’t recognize many of my own autistic traits
    • sensory issues and other autism traits I thought were just “me”
    • struggling to read social cues and the unspoken rules everyone else seemed to understand
    • masking autism and learning to perform the “right” social behaviors
    • the overlap between masking, people-pleasing, shame, and autistic burnout
    • what it’s like to rethink your identity after a late autism diagnosis

If you’re a late-diagnosed autistic woman, think you might be autistic, or have spent your life wondering why being a person sometimes seems harder for you than it does for everyone else, you’ll probably recognize yourself in this episode.
