  • Game 17 vs Utah Mammoth ft. Nick Alberga
    Nov 4 2026

The Toronto Maple Leafs open their six-game homestand with a 3-2 loss to the Utah Mammoth, and Zack Phillips is joined by Nick Alberga for another edition of Leafs Nation After Dark!

Jack Roslovic scored both goals for Toronto, extending his point streak to seven games, while Auston Matthews picked up two assists. The Leafs battled back to tie the game twice, but Nick Schmaltz's power-play goal midway through the third period proved to be the difference.

Sergei Bobrovsky made 33 saves in a much better outing, but Toronto's penalty kill struggled against Utah's dangerous power play, allowing two goals on three opportunities. Zack and Nick break down Bobrovsky's performance, the Leafs' special teams, and another frustrating night offensively outside of the Matthews line.

Plus, we'll discuss the controversial Andrew Peeke goal, Jim Hiller's lineup decisions, and the continued absences of John Tavares and Kirill Marchenko. Toronto has now lost three of its last four games and sits at 8-7-2 on the season.

  • Game 16 vs Vancouver Canucks ft. Dan Riccio
    Nov 1 2026

The Toronto Maple Leafs get back in the win column with a 4-2 victory over the Vancouver Canucks! Zack Phillips is live for another edition of Leafs Nation After Dark to break down Anthony Stolarz's strong performance, Auston Matthews' continued scoring streak, and Toronto's bounce-back win to close out its road trip.

William Nylander opened the scoring just 1:23 into the game and finished with a goal and an assist, while Matthews scored his 11th of the season to extend his road point streak to eight games. Former Canucks Zack MacEwen and Teddy Blueger also scored against their old team as Toronto snapped its two-game losing streak.

Stolarz made 26 saves in his return to the crease and even picked up an assist on Blueger's empty-net goal. Zack discusses the Leafs' goaltending situation following Sergei Bobrovsky's struggles in Seattle, Chris Tanev's return to the lineup, and Toronto's defensive performance.

Plus, we'll get into Gavin McKenna's night alongside Matthews, the Leafs' missed opportunities on the power play, and whether Jim Hiller's group can build some consistency after splitting its four-game road trip.

The Leafs improve to 8-6-2 and return home to face Utah on Tuesday. Call into the show, get involved in the live chat and share your biggest takeaways!

  • Game 15 vs Seattle Kraken
    Oct 29 2026

The Toronto Maple Leafs suffer a heartbreaking 5-4 loss to the Seattle Kraken after Brandon Montour scores with just 32.7 seconds remaining in regulation! Zack Phillips is live for another edition of Leafs Nation After Dark to break down Toronto's late collapse, Gavin McKenna's breakout performance, and another difficult night for Sergei Bobrovsky.

McKenna delivered his best NHL performance yet, scoring twice on the power play and adding an assist for his first career three-point game. Auston Matthews also finished with three points, including the game-tying goal with 1:30 remaining, while Jack Roslovic helped spark Toronto's third-period comeback.

Despite erasing a 4-2 deficit, the Leafs couldn't get the game to overtime as Montour's late winner sealed Seattle's victory. Zack breaks down Bobrovsky allowing five goals on 17 shots, Toronto's defensive breakdowns, and whether Jim Hiller needs to make changes after consecutive losses.

Plus, we'll discuss McKenna's chemistry with Matthews following his promotion to the top line, Easton Cowan extending his point streak to five games, and how Toronto moves forward without the injured Kirill Marchenko.

The Leafs fall to 7-6-2 as their road trip continues in San Jose. Get involved in the live chat with your reactions, questions and biggest takeaways!
