What better way to honor your ancestors than to dress up like them and recreate the hardest part of their lives? In Part 1 of our 2-part Trek series, we’ll uncover the history of Trek: when, why, and how did Trek become a tradition? We’ll assess familiar features, such as the Women’s Pull, as well as defunct Trek practices like turkey hunts, history exams, and compulsory fasting while walking 15 miles per day… Listen until the end of the episode, and you may just earn yourself a nice piece of jerky and a stale roll!
