Last Saturday we had probably the biggest guest we've ever had on the podcast - Katie Taylor. And we didn't just record an episode with her, we spent the full day together on her tour bus as she traveled around the country.

We debrief the full day and give you every detail from the numbers of wheels on the bus to the disasters with the Meta glasses. There's also drama from JD the night before and a review of the most shocking part of all - Terence's driving.

As ever, get in touch and let us know what you thought of Katie's episode by emailing TalkingBollox@GoLoudNow.com

Do you ever cry in the night and look at a street light? Specifically the orange ones... These are the important questions Terence is asking in this weeks bonus - And he's not too happy with the answers he gets.

Calvin debates the risk of bouncing on a pogo stick, and there are mathematical equations being done on the maximum number of pigeons that could be carried at any one time.

  • Episode 272 w/ Katie Taylor
    Jun 8 2026

It's hard to understand how much this episode means to us - Katie Taylor is a hero of Irish sport and a dream guest for a long time.

This weekend, we joined her as she drove around the country promoting her final ever fight in Ireland's most iconic arena, Croke Park. Katie told us what it means to follow in Muhammad Ali's footsteps fighting in Croke Park and how she knew this was the right time to retire.

She got emotional talking about the Olympics and the fight to get women's boxing recognised as a sport, and opened up about achieving a childhood dream to representing her country - Not to mention winning gold.

Katie didn't stop at gold though - She's put on incredible battles as a professional boxer and is an inspiration to so many young girls in Ireland. As we travelled around we saw first hand how much that legacy means to Katie and how she hopes to inspire the next generation of sports stars.

Tickets to see Katie fight in Croke Park will be on sale from Friday June 12, on Ticketmaster.
