The Leap from stage lights to oracle cards, and the mindset that makes both possible.Professional dancer and creator T.J. Milne reveals how she built a life that moves between Broadway-style performances on Disney Cruise Line and her deeply intuitive oracle deck, The Thoughtful Journey. If you’ve ever wondered how to turn passion into a career without losing your sense of self, this conversation is for you.Jen and T.J. unpack the years of discipline behind a dance career that began at age nine, the support system that helped her keep going, and the surprising way uncertainty became a source of freedom instead of fear. T.J. shares what it was like training for hours a night, performing with Ballet Jorgen and Cirque du Soleil’s The House of Dancing Water, and navigating the off-seasons that pushed her to explore teaching, yoga, and other creative paths. You’ll discover:

• Why T.J. stopped seeing the unknown as a setback and started treating it like an invitation
• How a backstage oracle-card practice turned into a four-year creative collaboration
• The role of injury, recovery, and resilience in reshaping her relationship to performance
• Why she believes every person has a season, a spotlight, and a next chapter
• How she blends dance, yoga, and intuitive guidance into one purpose-driven life

Jen and T.J. also pull cards for each other live on air, leading to a surprisingly personal reading about ego, balance, love, and the pressure to do it all. It’s a powerful reminder that the messages we need most are often the ones we resist first. If you’re in a transition, craving direction, or trying to trust your next leap without having the whole map, this episode offers equal parts inspiration, perspective, and practical encouragement.
