In the early hours of a Minnesota morning, nineteen-year-old Brandon Swanson calls his parents after sliding his car into a ditch. He's not hurt. He's not panicking. He just needs help finding his way home.

For nearly an hour, his father stays on the line — listening as Brandon walks through the dark, describing fences, fields, and lights that never seem to get closer. Then, without warning, Brandon says two words. And the call goes silent.

In this episode of Silent Secrets, we explore a disappearance that began and ended on an open phone line, and left behind more questions than answers.
