Together, they bought forty acres in the North Carolina mountains backing up to the Pisgah National Forest.

Brian's unexpected run for Caldwell County Sheriff opened doors he never anticipated—including a partnership with a forest ranger named Zach who'd been quietly documenting the truth for years. Then a college student named Austin Mercer disappeared, and the trail camera footage he left behind changed everything.
