In this deeply moving conversation, Jason sits down with author and minister Terry Tripp to explore what happens when we allow Jesus—not fear, religion, or retribution—to reveal exactly what God is like. Terry shares his journey from growing up on TBN and traveling millions of miles in ministry to discovering the absolute goodness of God, including the sacred moment with his dying father that completely redefined ministry for him. Together, they reconsider the stories of Moses, the woman caught in adultery, and especially Judas—asking whether the church leaves broken people with hope or a rope. This is a powerful conversation about union, grace, identity, the end of separation, and a Father who never stops calling us His friends.

Bob Switzer returns for a conversation about reading Scripture through one life-changing conviction: God has always been as good as Jesus reveals. Together, Jason and Bob revisit Moses, Jericho, Ananias and Sapphira, and Jesus clearing the temple, exploring what changes when we question the violence attributed to God and recognize the humanity of our biblical heroes. They discuss the freedom to ask questions, trust beyond the need for certainty, and discover a God who is already present with the people we hope to reach. Bob also shares how caring for six eleven-year-old boys is teaching him the long game of love—an affection that keeps showing up, even when it’s resisted.

Chris E.W. Green joins Jason for a rich conversation about the goodness of God, the beauty of our humanity, and the healing love revealed in Jesus. Together, they explore how bad theology can contradict what our hearts already know, why sin is better understood through the lens of sickness and healing than punishment and shame, and what it means to be made in the image of the One who heals the world. Chris also reflects on mystery, certainty, prayer, suffering, and the difference between optimism and genuine hope—a hope rooted not in where the world appears to be heading, but in the unchanging goodness of God.
