About this listen

If it's hard to do, Ash Poole wants to have a crack at it!

Due to undiagnosed learning difficulties, Ash was often thought of as the "naughty kid" in school and told he would never amount to anything. He took that as motivation to take on some of the toughest vocations out there - the Royal Marines, bodyguarding, mechanics and robotics, and even working in sewers - to prove the naysayers hopelessly wrong.

Any guesses what he says the toughest job he's done is? It will surprise you!

Hear Ash's fascinating journey to becoming The Fencing Bloke, where his love of being outdoors and his drive to make customers happy has led him to becoming one of the industries biggest names in the area.

Oh yeah, and we talked about poo a lot as well.

About Ash Poole:

Ash runs, or rather "is", The Fencing Bloke - a big and highly regarded name in fence installation in Chester, North Wales and North West England.
