MEN? The Musical is MORE than entertainment — “it is a cultural conversation platform designed to inspire emotional connection, personal elevation, and mutual respect through storytelling, music, and healthy dialogue”
A NEW CONVERSATION EVERY TUESDAY.
Is this podcast series for me?
Yes, if you are curious and share our values in:
• Entertainment & Relationships — engagement, through music, storytelling, humour, dating culture, and emotional connection.
• Personal Development/Elevation — helping explore emotional intelligence, communication, identity, healing, and self-awareness.
• Equality & Respect — creating healthier conversations between women and men based on understanding, respect, and shared humanity.
What’s this episode about ?
In this episode Pamela and Steven discuss why personal elevation isn't about becoming perfect. It's about becoming more aware.
You can know exactly what you're doing and still do it. You canunderstand your behaviour and still fall back into it. You can make a decision to change and then, under pressure, revert to an old way of responding. And that's not necessarily failure. It's human behaviour.
Pamela and Steven observe Jennifer, our main female character in MEN? The Musical. She’s been on quite a journey. She begins to question her relationship with James, her Free Agent. She also begins to recognise some of her own behaviour patterns, after attending a Personal Development/Elevation event. We've seen moments where she's beginning to reconnect with herself. And yet...she slips. And we think that's incredibly important. Because personal elevation doesn't mean that suddenly everything is fixed.
Personal elevation requires commitment!
