With colleagues who provide care to transgender patients being doxxed and threatened perhaps more than abortion care providers right now, Bev and Jonas sought the insight of the ACLU’s Chase Strangio, the first openly trans lawyer to argue in front of the Supreme Court. Chase illuminates our shared struggle, reminds us of the history of queer joy in the face of oppression, and offers inspiration to anyone who might be hesitant to stand up for their community in the public square.
