Hello and welcome to the Let’s Make Them Pay Podcast, I am your host Scott Bennett… today, I am honored to share space here in studio with Carlos Lemar Dixon… you can find him on social media posting under the handle APTAP, an abbreviation for All Power To All People. Carlos was once a candidate in the Wisconsin governor’s race. He is currently a full time activist and organizer. You can see him courageously using his voice in public town council meetings or even taking over official police press conferences, as he did in Madison after the police killing of Corey Ruiz. Carlos is a charismatic, passionate advocate for the people… what you might call the definition of a fire-breathing revolutionary… and I mean that as a compliment.

Hello and welcome to the Let’s Make Them Pay Podcast, season two! Today we have a very special guest, a content creator who goest by the handle Adriftdrifloon. Her name is Jess and you can find her content on TikTok, which is where I originally found her… years ago now… she also posts on Instagram and Facebook. She has been one of my favorite content creators for some time. What I value most about her posts is her clarity of vision. She explains things with a level of understanding that takes years to get.

Does anybody else think Atheisticdeist is one of the best creators on TikTok? I know I do. You will frequently see him in his work clothes, his posts possibly recorded during smoke breaks or in his car. His name is Tom but everyone, including me, pretty much only knows him by his handle Atheisticdeist. His posts are concise and get right to the heart of our society’s most contentious issues and news stories. I love his grasp on what’s happening in the world and how he presents it. Tom's insights challenge listeners to rethink their assumptions about both religion and politics, urging a more nuanced understanding of these complex topics. In this episode we discuss the intersections of faith, politics, and how beliefs shape our worldviews and societal structures.
