  • Lou Diamond Phillips on Gangland’s Indigenous Stories, Why Young Guns 3 Isn’t Greenlit, and The Chair Company Season 2 Getting Even Crazier
    4 Nov 2026

Lou Diamond Phillips has read the Young Guns 3 script, calls it “unbelievable,” and can't understand why the sequel hasn't gotten the green light. The La Bamba and Longmire star talks with Kyle Meredith about his new film Gangland, playing a morally complicated tribal police officer, shooting on Cheyenne and Arapaho land in just 18 days, and how Indigenous communities have embraced the movie as a starting point for conversations about violence and healing. Phillips also discusses the possibility of revisiting his cult film The First Power, his unexpected history as a rock singer, and why the second season of The Chair Company is already “crazier than ever.”

  • Rachel Bilson, Arden Myrin, and Rob Riggle on Christmas at the Kringles, Wild Improvisation, and Kevin Lewis’ Unseen 25-Minute Cut
    2 Nov 2026

Rachel Bilson spent much of Christmas at the Kringles trying not to laugh at Arden Myrin and Thomas Lennon, even while her own character was being hypnotized into a holiday nightmare. Bilson and Myrin talk with Kyle Meredith about the Christmas-obsessed cult at the center of the movie, how Bilson kept “Silent Night” playing in her head during her drugged-out scenes, and why Myrin thinks she'd make a pretty great cult leader herself. Rob Riggle follows with stories about playing a foul-mouthed, drunken Santa, the surreal experience of trading punches with Beverly D'Angelo, and why he's been branching out into more dramatic roles. Director Kevin Lewis then gets into his love of Sam Raimi's wild camera work, why he considers the movie a spiritual successor to Willy's Wonderland, and the 20 to 25 minutes of unused footage he'd love to release as the "Kringle Cut," along with a few ideas for bringing these Christmas-loving lunatics back for another round.

  • Kate Siegel on Directing Carrie, Her Dream of Casting Olivia Rodrigo, and Feature Debut Method
    28 Oct 2026

Kate Siegel knew the trick to making Carrie’s first house party terrifying was letting her have a great time. Talking with Kyle Meredith about directing episode three of Mike Flanagan’s Stephen King adaptation, she connects her own experiences with bullying and teenage freedom to a night inspired by Can’t Hardly Wait and 10 Things I Hate About You. Then we get properly nerdy about the needle drops, searching through roughly 400 songs for one scene, and making a car float with a decidedly unglamorous jack. Siegel also shares where her feature directorial debut Method stands, her plans for feminist filmmaking through Legitimate Pictures, and a dream of casting Olivia Rodrigo, so somebody get that message to Olivia.
