  • Fenna's Bday, BIG NAPPY, Hot Dads
    Dec 8 2025
This week, Katherine's Telling Everybody Everything about the heady mix of guilt and duty upon privately hiring a soft play centre for Fenna Grace's third birthday party. Bobby kept his cool as his daughter was chucked down a climbing frame and we are thankfully more understanding about behavioural challenges. Is it okay to notice when a dad is HOT? An American podcast changes Andrew's algorithm as he deep dives into 'Elimination Communication' for the good of TEE listeners, and he'll never look at 'sphincter control' the same way again. Katherine might die on Friday but for now, your emails on pettiness towards GRANDmother-in-laws, a psycho landlord, and more. x

We hear from listeners about when to become a stepdad and when to break up with a 'meh' dad. Plus, a Canadian listener has spotted Romesh on a flight from Edmonton! Finally, TEE Producer, Andrew Johnston treats us to a special holiday story time episode and BOY this story has it all: infidelity, intrigue, power imbalances, politics, prose, fashion and FELCHING. As much as I love Katherine and have enjoyed the podcast for the most part and I objected strongly to the listener who wrote in saying quite vehemently that they didn't ever want to hear anything from Bobby K, as I thought they were being very harsh in how they vocalised their contempt of him. I too, have on many occasions, found myself frowning at some of his comments but was willing to let them slide.
However, I got to the Harry and Megan episode and could not finish listening to him rant on about her, it was like listening to a daily mail 'article' or their comments section, i usually steer well clear of both, so stopped listening with 38+ minutes left of the episode and to be perfectly honest I'm not sure I can continue to listen to any subsequent episodes either, we shall see but it's not looking good right now.

Love Katherine love her comedy but yeesh BK spoiled it for me

Katherine’s podcast is wonderfully candid, seamlessly shifting between serious topics and hilarious bits with guest appearances from members of the Ryan family all equally charming in their own right. I’m particularly fond of the advice given by Katherine’s young daughter Violet and by her mother and sisters in Canada.

I’ve developed such a love for Katherine’s tales that I’ve booked to see her Missus show and I’m eagerly awaiting the release of The Audacity. Sometimes covering mature topics and with some strong language I’d recommend this podcast to anyone age 13+, or perhaps 15+ depending on interest and maturity!

Wonderfully Candid
