Do you have a dispute with your parents, friend, or sibling that you need settled in the court of Bex? She's decided to dust off her Law Degree (that’s a thing she has!) and bring the court room to you. Maybe your parents are withholding pocket money unfairly? Maybe your sibling is blaming you for losing their favourite toy? Maybe your best friend didn’t complete their dare properly?

Bex and her team of ace attorneys review each case with a fine tooth-comb to deliver verdicts that are definitely legally binding.

  • Mum’s phone and the hour-long loo break
    2 Nov 2026

Lauren keeps vanishing to the loo, Connor wants to tour schools giving talks about balance, and there are two brand new cases for the court.

Sisters Libby and Jessica are taking Mum to court because she’s always on her phone. Jessica loves role-play with her teddies and toy animals, and Mum is the only one who’ll do it with her, because Libby really, really doesn’t like role-play. So Mum says she’ll be up in a minute… and then never comes. When the girls go downstairs to find her, she’s messaging people. As Jessica puts it: what’s more important than your dearest children?

Mum has a defence ready. Her phone is how she sorts out the girls’ activities, pays for things and does the shopping (although the girls point out that Dad does the food shop). And if they helped more around the house, she might have more time to play. For once in the court of Judge Bex, it’s the kids who want less screen time, not more. Will Mum be putting her phone down?

Then Roman takes his dad, Jack, to court for spending up to an hour on the toilet. Dad only found out about the case the day before, and he reckons it’s 15 minutes, tops. Roman’s stepmum, listening from the corner of the room, says it’s more like 45. Dad is a pastry chef and says he’s scrolling recipes for new desserts. Roman thinks it’s TikToks, and he’d much rather Dad came out and played with his toys. He’s even brought evidence: half a toilet roll. Is the bathroom really Dad’s office…?

  • Halloween special: the trick-or-treat ban
    26 Oct 2026

It’s the Judge Bex Halloween special! Connor and Lauren turn up dressed as Mario and Luigi, Judge Bex comes in costume as Connor, and there’s one big spooky case for the court.

Nine-year-old Florence and her brother Max are taking Mum and Dad to court over a serious Halloween injustice: they have never, ever been allowed to go trick-or-treating. Most of the kids on their estate and their friends from school go out every year, while Florence and Max eat their dinner and watch everyone else go past the window.

But Mum and Dad have a strong defence. Knocking on strangers’ doors and taking their sweets goes against everything they teach about stranger danger, it’s a bit greedy, and the family would rather save the fun for Bonfire Night a few days later. They go pumpkin picking and decorate pumpkins… and on Halloween night they switch the porch light off.

Florence has a clever comeback, though. If the family can only celebrate one thing a week, what happens to her and Max’s birthdays?

Will Judge Bex grant Florence and Max their first ever trick-or-treat, or is it lights off again this year? And is there any chocolate left in the judge’s famous bowl for two hungry plumbers?

  • Solo TV time and the gumball machine that got away
    18 Oct 2026

Judge Bex gets caught listening to a rival science podcast, Connor claims to make up 75% of the Dream Team, and there are two brand new cases for the court.

Nine-year-old Henry takes his mum to court because he isn’t allowed to watch TV on his own. If a parent leaves the sofa, even to go to the loo, the programme gets paused until they’re back. Henry thinks that’s unfair, and he’s even offering a compromise: TV on his own at weekends, and with someone else on weekdays. But Mum says Henry has left out some vital evidence. While she and Dad were having a weekend lie-in, he was caught watching Border Force… And Henry has a complaint of his own: Mum sings along to films far too much. Can Henry win back his solo telly time, or is it the pause button forever?

Then Samuel takes his mum to court over a gumball machine. He spotted one in a shop after seeing one on Ryan’s World, and he’s brought his own colourful drawing of it as evidence. Mum said no. When he went back months later with his grandma and grandpa, somebody else had bought it, and now the shop has closed down too. But Mum has some evidence of her own. That same day Samuel had already been to see Horrible Histories, picked out some fun bath treats including a Minecraft TNT one, and gone out for sushi… More than a year later, does Samuel deserve his dream gumball machine?
