This is the first episode of the Aladdin Lamp series, which is a radio program of commercials and songs. It opens with a song called For Me and My Gal, followed by a sales pitch from Martin Ed McConnell, the Aladdin lamp man. He invites listeners to visit his store to see the company's new line of Aladdin lamps with Whippa light shades, which he says will make housework easier and home life more pleasant. He suggests the lamps make good gifts and good study lamps for children. The program then closes with a hymn, I Serve a Risen Savior, and a farewell from McConnell, who says the show will return next time.

This episode of the Aladdin Lamp series opens with a musical program hosted by Ed McConnell, who sings and promotes the company's lamps. The episode is largely a song and advertising segment: McConnell sings the song Heaven Only Knows and talks about the lamp designs sold in the store, including table and floor lamps. He also reads a hymn-like verse about clouds of grief and the dawn of heaven. The transcript ends with McConnell thanking listeners and promising to return. No story or characters beyond the host appear in the portion available.
