When Life Shakes You, What Do You Tell Yourself?

Well… this wasn’t exactly part of the plan.

Imagine being days away from launching something you’ve poured your heart into for three years. The excitement. The anticipation. The big dreams.

And then, quite literally, the ground starts shaking beneath your feet.

In this deeply personal episode, Alex shares what happened when a powerful earthquake struck her community in Panama, just days before the launch of her children's book, Free to Be Me.

And suddenly, the words she had spent years teaching her children became the very words her family needed most.

We are safe. We are loved. We are worthy.

Because when life throws us into uncertainty, our brains reach for what's familiar. And the words we repeat to ourselves can become the foundation we lean on when everything else feels shaky.

Alex and Carol explore the power of our inner dialogue, the importance of community, and what happens when the mindset work we've practiced is suddenly put to the test.

What words does your mind reach for when things fall apart?

And are those words helping you find your footing?

You can't always control what shakes your world. But you can nurture the voice that carries you through it.

🎧 Tune in for a moving conversation about finding strength, safety, and possibility when life doesn't go according to plan.
