  • EP. 16 Do We Still Need Gender Roles? EQUAL, BUT NOT THE SAME
    18 Oct 2026

    Matriarchy? Patriarchy? Gender roles? Equality?

What if some of the biggest relationship conflicts we have aren’t because one person is wrong, but because men and women may genuinely experience stress, intimacy, communication, and connection differently?

In this episode of High Level Hairesy, we explore what science actually says about the biological, psychological, hormonal, and relational differences between men and women—and how understanding those differences can make relationships stronger.

We break down research on stress, communication, sex drive, emotional processing, hormones, brain differences, and relationship roles. We also revisit Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus through a modern lens and ask where John Gray got it right, where the science has evolved, and where stereotypes oversimplify the truth.

We also dig into how women entering the modern workforce changed marriage and household roles, why fairness doesn’t always mean splitting everything 50/50, and how couples can use their differences to complement one another instead of competing.

This isn’t about one sex being better than the other.

    It’s about a simpler idea:

Equal doesn’t have to mean identical.

And maybe the differences we keep trying to erase are some of the very things that can make a relationship stronger.

  • EP. 15 Are We Educating Thinkers or Workers? Today's Modern School System
    21 Jul 2026

In this episode of High Level Hairesy, we sit down with our two teenage kids for a raw and honest conversation about modern education, homeschooling, and whether school is truly preparing kids for real life.

We talk about grades, standardized testing, phones, missing life skills, creativity, pressure, and what school actually feels like from the student perspective. We also dig into the history of the American education system, including Rockefeller’s influence and the bigger question of whether modern schooling was designed to create thinkers — or workers.

From public school to homeschooling, we explore the pros and cons of both, including structure, freedom, socialization, individuality, and what kids really need to become confident, capable adults.

This isn’t about attacking teachers. It’s about questioning the system.

Is school helping kids become who they are — or teaching them how to fit inside the machine?

  • EP. 13 Should I Be The Bigger Person? Boundaries Aren't Betrayal
    14 Jun 2026

What does it really mean to “be the bigger person”—and when does that phrase become a way to keep you silent, small, or stuck in unhealthy patterns?

In this episode of High Level Hairesy, we unpack the complicated reality of setting boundaries with toxic family members, friends, coworkers, and anyone who uses guilt, loyalty, or obligation to keep access to you. We talk about why boundaries can feel so uncomfortable, why people often mistake them for betrayal, and how choosing peace does not make you cold, cruel, or unforgiving.

This conversation is for anyone who has ever been told, “But they’re family,” while trying to protect their own mental, emotional, or spiritual well-being.

We explore the difference between love and enabling, forgiveness and access, compassion and self-abandonment—and why sometimes the most loving thing you can do is stop participating in the pattern.

You are not betraying someone by choosing your own peace. You are remembering that your energy, your healing, and your life are sacred.

    In this episode:

    • Why “be the bigger person” can sometimes become spiritual gaslighting
    • How toxic dynamics show up in families, friendships, and work relationships
    • Why boundaries are not punishment—they are protection
    • The guilt that comes with choosing yourself
    • How to love people without handing them unlimited access to you
    • Why peace may require distance, even from people you care about
