I'm back to my regular fortnightly schedule and coming at you with the slowest tune this podcast has ever birthed. In this song I'm channeling 50% Neil Young and 50% Donald Winnicott. Shout out to Carys on backing vocals.

This time I'm hitting you up with a ballad I wrote for a friend of mine. Much thanks to my lil bro for supplying some lovely double bass and blood harmonies. We wanna start gigging as The Brothers Tufton so if you are looking for some sepia-toned blood harmonies at your event we would be glad to grace your stage.

Hey! I'd love to hear your thoughts, send me a voice note.

Welcome back to Henry's Tape.

If any of you guys have kept up with my musical ventures in the past, last week's tune was probably to be expected, a kind of bedroom pop, shoegaze kind of vibe. We're taking a turn into something a bit heavier this week. Of course I am not abandoning my lo-fi credentials and the whole thing is dripping in tape hiss with all mistakes left in.

If you can decipher what I'm saying through the noise, there's a bit of social commentary about when so called 'wellness' turns into something more narcissistic or, dare I say, fascistic. I'm thinking about spiritual bypassing and maybe even getting into Stewart Home or Naomi Klein territory if that's your jam.

Catch you in two weeks for something a bit lighter x
