  • What If We Gave Grace Instead? | Choosing Love Over Offense
    2 Nov 2026

Why are we so quick to judge others but so eager to receive grace when we make mistakes?

We live in a world where it’s easy to take offense, point out someone else’s faults, and assume the worst. But what if we chose a different response?

What if we gave grace instead?

In this episode of Faith • Focus • Fortitude™, Ron Christ shares how a neighborhood power surge, ongoing frustrations, and even something as simple as garbage cans sparked a deeper reflection on how we treat one another.

Through James 1:19 and Ephesians 4:32, we’re reminded that God calls us to be quick to listen, slow to anger, compassionate, and forgiving—just as He has forgiven us through Jesus Christ.

Grace doesn’t mean abandoning accountability. It means choosing love in how we treat others.

This week’s challenge: Before reacting to someone who frustrates you, ask yourself, “Am I responding with grace, or am I simply reacting because I’m offended?”

Then find one opportunity to make someone feel seen, heard, valued, and loved.

We cannot control how much grace the world gives us, but we can choose how much grace we give the world.

  • The Power Was Never Ours | When God Shows Up in Our Weakest Moments
    26 Oct 2026

What happens when life changes in an instant, and all you have left is your faith?

In 2018, I was riding my Harley at approximately 75 miles per hour when I realized I was about to crash.

In that moment, I had time for just six words:

“Oh God, I’m about to crash.”

What followed was one of the most frightening experiences of my life. I was injured, struggling to breathe, and facing the possibility that I might not survive.

But through it all, I believed God was with me.

In this episode of Faith • Focus • Fortitude™, we explore a powerful truth found in Acts 3 and 4.

When Peter and John encountered a man who had been unable to walk since birth, God worked through them to change that man’s life. Yet Peter refused to take credit for the miracle.

The power was never his. It belonged to God.

And that same truth applies to our lives today.

Faith doesn’t guarantee a life without pain, suffering, or uncertainty. But it reminds us that God’s presence and strength are available even in our weakest moments.

    In this episode, you’ll discover:

    ● Why God, not us, deserves the glory for what He accomplishes.

    ● How our weakest moments can become opportunities to experience His strength.

    ● Why your testimony matters and how God can use your experiences to encourage others.

    ● How to surrender your circumstances and trust God with what you cannot control.

    Scripture references: Acts 3–4 | Psalm 46:1 | 2 Corinthians 12:9

    Here’s my challenge for you:

Think about something God has brought you through. Who in your life might need to hear that story today?

Remember, you don’t have to be the hero. You simply have to be willing to point others toward the One who is.

If this message encourages you, share it with someone who needs a reminder that God is still at work.

  • After 32 Years, I’m Still Learning My Wife | Faith • Focus • Fortitude
    19 Oct 2026

After 32 years of marriage, you might think you know everything about your spouse. But what if there’s still so much more to discover?

Recently, my wife Michelle and I, along with our daughter Kayla and a friend, attended a beautiful lantern festival. Thousands of people gathered around a lake, enjoying conversations beneath the night sky before releasing their glowing lanterns onto the water.

But the most meaningful part of the evening wasn’t the lanterns.

It was a simple deck of question cards.

As Michelle and I asked each other questions, laughed, and listened, I realized something powerful:

Knowing someone for a long time doesn’t mean you’ve finished knowing them.

In this episode of Faith • Focus • Fortitude™, we explore the importance of being intentional in our relationships, staying curious about the people we love, and giving others the gift of our attention.

James 1:19 reminds us to be quick to listen and slow to speak.

Whether you’ve been married for decades, are raising children, or have lifelong friendships, there’s always an opportunity to grow closer.

Your challenge this week: Ask someone you love a question you’ve never asked before. Put away the distractions and genuinely listen.

Because loving someone doesn’t mean you’ve finished learning them.

  • What Are You Doing With Your Dash? | The Legacy You Leave Behind
    12 Oct 2026

One day, every one of us will leave behind two dates with a dash between them. But have you ever stopped to think about what that dash represents?

It’s your life. Your relationships. Your choices. Your faith. And the difference you make in the lives of others.

In this episode of Faith • Focus • Fortitude™, I share a powerful experience from a retirement dinner honoring a longtime customer and friend who spent 24 years building a successful business. What impressed me most wasn’t his accomplishments—it was the relationships he built and the lives he touched.

I also reflect on my own journey, including surviving a near-fatal motorcycle accident in 2018, overcoming challenges from my childhood, and discovering that God can use every chapter of our story for a greater purpose.

Through Jeremiah 29:11, we’re reminded that God has a plan for our lives, even when we cannot see what lies ahead.

In this episode, I challenge you to consider three questions:

    ● How are you using the time God has given you?

    ● Are you building relationships or simply collecting accomplishments?

    ● What kind of legacy are you creating through your faith, love, and service?

Your past doesn’t have to define your future, and your story isn’t finished.

The question isn’t how long your dash will be. It’s what you’re doing with it today.

If this message encourages you, follow Faith • Focus • Fortitude™, share this episode with someone who needs encouragement, and consider how God might use you to make a difference in someone’s life.

    Until next time…

  • Expectations Change Everything | Communication, Trust & Relationships
    5 Oct 2026

Have you ever been frustrated with someone and thought, “They should know”?

They should know what I meant.
They should know what I expected.
They should know how I feel.

    But what if they don’t?

A simple misunderstanding between my wife Michelle, our daughter Kayla, and me over what we were doing for Michelle’s birthday dinner reminded me of something important:

Nobody needs to be wrong for a situation to go wrong.

We all heard the same conversation. We all thought we understood the plan. But we walked away with completely different expectations.

And something as simple as deciding what to have for dinner turned into nearly an hour of frustration before we finally ordered Chinese food.

    That experience reminded me:

    Expectations require communication.
Communication creates clarity.
Clarity builds trust.
Trust strengthens relationships.
And consistency protects all of it.

In this episode of Faith • Focus • Fortitude™, we talk about the danger of assumptions, the importance of listening, how expectations affect our relationships, and why sometimes the expectation that needs to change is our own.

James 1:19 reminds us to be “quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.”

Maybe instead of assuming, we need to ask.

Maybe instead of reacting, we need to get curious.

    Because:

    Assumption creates frustration.
Curiosity creates connection.

And when it comes to God, faith isn’t trusting Him because He’s following our plan.

Faith is trusting God even when we don’t understand His.

    So here’s the challenge:

Think about one relationship in your life and ask yourself:

“Are there expectations here that we’ve never actually talked about?”

Maybe the conversation you’ve been avoiding is exactly the conversation that relationship needs.

  • The Battle You Don’t See Coming | Spiritual Warfare, Grace & Redemption
    28 Sep 2026

Have you ever watched someone you respected—someone strong in their faith, someone who knew Scripture and genuinely loved God—make a decision that changed everything?

    It’s easy to ask:

“How could that happen to them?”

But maybe there’s a more important question:

“What makes me think it couldn’t happen to me?”

None of us are beyond temptation. None of us graduate from needing God. And yesterday’s spiritual strength isn’t enough for today’s spiritual battle.

In this episode of Faith • Focus • Fortitude™, I share a lesson that has stayed with me for years about spiritual warfare, temptation, the armor of God—and something equally important: grace and redemption.

The battle doesn’t always begin with one enormous decision.

Sometimes it begins with a small compromise.

    A thought we entertain.

    A boundary we move.

    Something we justify.

And little by little, we can find ourselves somewhere we never intended to be.

That’s why Scripture tells us to “put on the full armor of God” and stand firm.

But this message isn’t about pointing at someone else’s failure.

It’s about looking in the mirror and asking:

    Where have my boundaries moved?
Where am I vulnerable?
What am I doing today to protect my walk with God?

And if you’ve already fallen, remember this:

Your worst decision does not suddenly become greater than the cross.

Sin has consequences. Grace doesn’t erase those consequences or pretend people weren’t hurt. But through genuine repentance, there is forgiveness.

    There is grace.

    There is redemption.

Your worst chapter doesn’t have to be your last chapter.

Here’s the Ron-ism I want you to remember:

Don’t wait for the battle to build your armor. Build it now.

    📖 Scripture referenced: 1 Peter 5:8 • Ephesians 6:11 • Romans 3:23 • 1 John 1:9 • John 3:16 • Romans 8:28 • 1 Corinthians 16:13–14

  • Check Your Pocket | Before You Assume You Know the Whole Story
    21 Sep 2026

Have you ever been absolutely certain you were right… only to discover you were completely wrong?

Years ago, while serving in the military, I boarded a crowded bus in Naples, Italy. We had been warned repeatedly about pickpockets. Then a man bumped into me, I reached for my wallet—and it was gone.

At least, that’s what I thought.

What happened next left me sick to my stomach and taught me a lesson I’ve never forgotten:

We can be completely sincere in what we believe and still be completely wrong.

Sometimes we have some of the facts, connect the dots, and convince ourselves we know the whole story. Then we react, accuse, judge someone’s motives, or damage a relationship—only to discover there was something we didn’t know.

In this episode of Faith • Focus • Fortitude, we’ll talk about the importance of pausing before reacting, asking another question, seeking the truth, and having enough humility to consider that we may not have all the facts.

Proverbs 18:13 warns us about answering before we’ve truly listened, while James 1:19 reminds us to be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry.

    Before you point the finger…

    Check your pocket.

Before you react to what you think you know, take the time to discover what you don’t know.

    Until next time…

  • You Never Know When God Is Using You | Be Someone’s Theo
    14 Sep 2026

Welcome to Faith • Focus • Fortitude. I’m Ron Christ, and I’m so glad you’re here. Every week, we share real stories, biblical truth, and practical wisdom to help you grow in your faith, strengthen your character, and become the person God created you to be.

Have you ever had someone say something so simple, so ordinary, yet it stayed with you for years?

Years ago, the day before my dad was scheduled for triple bypass heart surgery, I met an older gentleman named Lou at church.

Lou had no idea what I was carrying. He didn’t know how afraid I was. He didn’t know what my family was facing the next morning.

    But God did.

Through one simple conversation, God used Lou’s story to give me something I desperately needed: peace.

Decades later, after reading Theo of Golden and thinking about my coach and mentor Dennis, I began connecting the dots.

Lou was a Theo in my life.

Dennis has been a Theo in my life.

And maybe God has been placing Theos in my life so I can learn how to become one in somebody else’s.

That’s what this episode is about.

    You don’t need a platform.

You don’t need the perfect words.

You don’t need to be a pastor, speaker, or coach.

Sometimes you simply need to be willing.

Jesus tells us in Matthew 5:14:

“You are the light of the world.”

    Your smile can matter.

    Your encouragement can matter.

    Your story can matter.

    Your kindness can matter.

You may never know what another person is carrying—or how God might use one ordinary moment to change their darkness.

    So today, notice one person.

Encourage them. Call them. Text them. Tell them you appreciate them. Tell them you believe in them. Share your story if it might help.

    Let your light shine.

    Be somebody’s encouragement.
Be somebody’s hope.
Be somebody’s Theo.

Because you never know when God is using you.

    Until next time…
Keep Faith.
Stay focused.
