Walking might be one of the simplest things you can do for your health, but there is so much more to it than putting one foot in front of the other. What happens when you combine walking with intentional breathing, mindfulness, and movement practices that have been used for centuries? In this episode of Everyday Epigenetics: Raw. Real. Relatable., Susan sits down with Dr. Jacques MoraMarco and Dr. Yun Kim, co-authors of Walking Your Way to Vitality, to explore how we can transform an everyday activity into a powerful practice for physical health, mental well-being, balance, and longevity.

Drawing on decades of experience in East Asian medicine, Tai Chi, and mindful movement, Dr. Jacques and Dr. Yun introduce different walking practices designed to support everything from relaxation and body awareness to strength, stability, and balance. They explore the connection between breathwork and movement, the science behind walking and mindfulness, the differences between Tai Chi and Qigong, and why consistency matters far more than chasing a specific step count. Susan also shares how incorporating daily walks has transformed her own fitness and well-being. Sometimes, meaningful change begins with a few intentional steps.

    28 Sep 2026
You know your body better than anyone else, but putting “something feels off” into words a healthcare provider can actually use isn’t always easy. In this episode of Everyday Epigenetics: Raw. Real. Relatable., Susan welcomes back naturopathic doctor and women’s health strategist Dr. Daniella Remy for a powerful conversation about the gaps that still exist in women’s healthcare and why understanding the patterns behind our symptoms matters.Daniella introduces Luna, a new women’s health platform created to help women capture their lived experiences, identify patterns over time, and translate that information into something both they and their healthcare providers can better understand.
