MXY MEC Chair Capt. Alex Kluge sits down with Capt. Sean Creed, former Spirit pilot and former ALPA vice president–administration/secretary, for a firsthand look at the mediation and negotiation process. Drawing from his experience leading Spirit pilots through years of mediation, a 30-day cooling-off period and ultimately a strike, Creed shares lessons that are especially relevant as MXY pilots enter mediation. The conversation explores what pilots can expect from the process, the role of the mediator and why staying informed, engaged and united can make a meaningful difference at the bargaining table.
