Tonya is Mississippi born and Louisiana bred vocalist, songwriter, host, community educator, and a standout performer on NBC's The Voice.

Aside from being a passionate supporter of mental health issues Tonya is also the executive director for the “Rise My Child” Foundation. This foundation has programs for children, ranging from ages 3-18 years old.
