In this episode, host David Scheidemantle, president of Scheidemantle Law Group, returns with three more traps that catch policyholders off guard, this time centered not on what they failed to do, but on what they wrongly believed. He opens with a real denial letter whose leftover file name gave away exactly how little work went into it.
David covers three more recurring traps:
➔ Treating insurance like a commodity
➔ Assuming the insurance company is on your side
➔ Taking the insurance company's word for it
The episode closes with a story about the humility David has observed in the greatest musicians and conductors he's worked with, and what it teaches about mistaking certainty for competence.
Coming Up Next:
David returns with three more traps…possibly four.
